Two of our own Val-U-Vet team members will be traveling to Boquete, Panama to participate in a spay/neuter day with Foundacion Amigos de los Animales, which translates to Friends of Animals!  Dr. Dan Evers, who works at our Deland hospital, will be performing surgeries and Erica Rigsby, hospital manager at our Sanford hospital, will be assisting him. 
Dr. Evers has been volunteering with Foundacion Amigos de los Animales for approximately 5 years now.  He travels to Panama regularly and works with the Panamanian people and their pets.  They trust and love him just as our clients do here at Val-U-Vet!  He has such a big heart for Boquete and its’ people!

Erica Rigsby does a lot of volunteer work here in the states, but this is her first time working with the foundation in Panama and is very excited to join Dr. Evers!
Val-U-Vet has been sponsoring Foundacion Amigos de los Animales for a little over a year.  We donate suture material and medications that Dr. Evers takes with him on each trip!  We are proud to have two of our team members getting involved with such a great cause!
